Egg Substitutes

I used to love scrambled egg for breakfast, and boiled eggs just to eat. I aware of how eggs causes mucus in my body, I would always feel like I was coming down with a cold after heavily eating eggs for a few days. Soulies , I have found a alternative .....Let's talk Eggs!!



Vegan Egg Substitutes

1. Flaxseed- 1 tbsp of flaxseed to 3 tbsp of water.

Health Benefits: Flaxseed is a rich source of healthy fat, antioxidants, and fiber. The seeds contain protein, lignans, and the essential fatty acid alpha-linolenic acid, also known as ALA or omega-3.


2. Chia Seed- 1 tbsp of chia seeds mixed with 3 tbsp of water and let mixtures for 15-20 minutes.

Health Benefits: Are a good source of fiber,and loaded with antioxidants. They provide a high quality of protein and high in omega-3 fatty acids.


3.Banana- one ripe mashed banana(a whole ripe regular banana or a mid ripe baby banana.)

Health Benefits: Bananas Contain Nutrients That Moderate Blood Sugar Levels. They give you energy minus the fats and cholesterol​. Bananas can aid digestion and help beat gastrointestinal issues.


4. Pumpkin- 1/4 cup of canned pumpkin or 1/4 fresh puree pumpkin.

Health Benefits: Pumpkins help boost immunity to keep you well. Pumpkins can help cleanse the liver,and help keep your eyes healthy.


5.Applesauce- 1 tbsp of applesauce can replace one egg in most baking recipes.

Health Benefits: Applesauce Helps Promote Good Digestion. Due to a high concentration of pectin, applesauce aids in good digestion and helps remove waste from the body.
