No High Fructose Syrup

It's that time of year , where we are loading up on the saltine crackers and ginger ale. I have came up with this tonic that will loosen mucus with no added sugar necessary! Let's talk my Ginger Citrus Fruit Tonic.



Ginger Fruit Tonic




Ingredients:

1/2 juiced ginger root

2 key limes

1 whole lemon

2 Tbsp of organic agave syrup (for taste and optional)

12-16 oz of Natural Spring Water (depends on how strong you desire it to be)



Directions:

1. Place 1/2 cup into juicer or blender and blender into it's a juice consistency

2. Place 12- 16oz of Spring Water in a pot

3. Allow water to boil on med-low until it comes to a boil

4. Squeeze 1 whole lemon into pot of water

5. Squeeze 2 key limes into the pot of water

6. Stir all ingredients together, and allow to cool

7.Pour tonic into your favorite cup

8. Add agave syrup to sweeten

9. Enjoy!!!

* (Note: Ginger root is strong,if you are not used to the taste opt to use less ginger root!)
